CBD Butter: How to Make it (You Know You Want to)

Let’s face it, we could all use a little more CBD in our lives. And one of the easiest ways to do that is with a little bit of CBD butter!

Spread it on toast, on waffles, use it for baking, even add it to your coffee! It’s like regular butter, only better! A better butter, if you will.

Ok, enough of that nonsense…

Making CBD infused butter is super easy – it doesn’t take a lot of effort or many ingredients.

How to Make CBD Butter

3 ingredients… and go!

CBD Butter

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 cups butter (salted or unsalted – it’s up to you)
  • 1 cup water
  • 20 ML CBD oil (or more or less, depending on how much you use per day)

How to cook it:

Now, let me start with this – it’s really important. You’ll notice below we say to cook it on low heat. And there’s a really good reason for that. You see, CBD begins to evaporate at temperatures over 350 F, so any time you use it in cooking, go low and slow. That will help maintain the integrity of the CBD. You don’t want to spend the time making it only to lose all those precious benefits!

Ok, so, to make it:

Step #1: Cut up your butter into small chunks.

Step #2: Add your butter, water and CBD oil in a small pot

Step #3: Heat it over low heat for about 2 hours, stirring a few times. You really want to infuse the CBD into the butter and get it well blended.

Step #4: Let it cool and pour it into an airtight container and voila, CBD butter!

Keep it refrigerated to make it last (it will last as long as regular butter) and use it just like you would normal butter.
