Today marks a pretty big milestone for Radiance.
Between the bottles we’ve sold, gifted and personally put into people’s hands, we can officially say that our Radiance Face Serum has touched at least 100 faces.
And that got me thinking.
I don’t just want to sell this serum.
I want people to actually use it.
I believe in Radiance that much.
So I decided to give myself a goal that feels a little crazy, but also completely right:
I want 1,000 people to try Radiance.
Not 1,000 likes.
Not 1,000 followers.
Not 1,000 people scrolling past another Facebook post.
1,000 actual faces.
And we’re already 100 in.
So now we have 900 to go.
Why 1,000 faces?
Because I genuinely believe this is one of the best products we have ever made.
I know that probably sounds like something every business owner says about their own product, but this one feels different to me.
Radiance was created because I wanted something simple, beautiful and effective. Something that made skin feel nourished and cared for without needing a cabinet full of products or a 12-step routine.
It’s made with pomegranate seed oil, jojoba seed oil, rosehip seed oil, our full-spectrum hemp extract, frankincense, helichrysum and marigold (from our favorite essential oil company Wisdom Of The Earth).
That’s it.
No giant ingredient list.
No unnecessary extras.
It’s rich, soothing, deeply moisturizing and honestly just feels really freaking good on your skin.
It also earned a 100/100 Excellent rating on Yuka, which was pretty exciting to see.
But the part I care about most is what people tell me after they actually use it.
That their skin feels softer.
That it feels calmer.
That they’re surprised by how much they love it.
Those are the things that make me want to keep getting it onto more faces.
And you don’t have to take my word for it.
We’ve already started hearing from people who are using Radiance and loving what it’s doing for their skin.
You can read the Radiance reviews here.
This is not a 1,000-bottle giveaway
I should probably make that clear now.
I have already given away a lot of Radiance because I wanted people to try it, and I’m becoming much more intentional about who I send bottles to and where they go.
The goal is not to hand out 900 free bottles.
The goal is to get Radiance onto 900 more faces however that happens.
Some people will buy it directly from us.
Some will find it through a retailer.
Some will hear about it from a friend.
Some may receive a bottle because I genuinely think they’re the right person to try it.
Some may buy one for their mom, husband, friend, sister or someone else they think would love it.
I don’t really care how the next 900 happen.
I just want them to happen.
Why make a project out of it?
Because we are a small business.
We don’t have some giant skincare advertising budget. I can’t throw thousands of dollars at Facebook or Instagram ads and hope Radiance somehow finds its people.
And honestly, I don’t want to spend the next year posting the same bottle over and over again telling everyone how amazing it is.
I’d rather let the product do some of the talking.
So instead of trying to advertise louder, I want to make this a journey.
We’ll keep track.
We’ll share milestones.
We’ll share stories from people who are using it.
We’ll celebrate when we hit 200 faces, 500 faces, 750 faces and eventually: 1,000.
And I think it’ll be really fun to see where those faces come from along the way.
100 down. 900 to go.
We’ve already reached at least 100 faces before this project even officially began.
That feels like a pretty damn good place to start.
Now I want to see what happens when we make the goal intentional.
If you already use Radiance, you’re part of the first 100.
If you decide to try it, you’re helping us get to the next 900.
And if you already love it, tell somebody.
Seriously.
Send them this post. Let them try yours. Tell them what you like about it. Give one as a gift.
For a tiny business like ours, that kind of word of mouth means more than you probably realize.
So here we go.
The 1,000 Face Project is officially underway.
