CBD Protein Bites
These bites pack a protein punch, and you don’t even need to turn on the oven.
Plus, with the added CBD oil, you get that extra oomph.
Here are our 3 faves!
1. Grab-and-go Breakfast
These little bites are the perfect pairing with your morning cup of Joe, especially because one of the ingredients is coffee! And they’re way healthier than the pre-packaged breakfast bar or muffin from the coffee shop.

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 2-3 droppers CBD oil
To make:
- Mix together the oats, flaxseed, salt, and coffee.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the almond butter and honey and microwave for 30-40 seconds, until you can blend it well.
- Pour over the oats, add the CBD, and mix together.
- Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes, or until the dough is firm.
- Once it’s firm, form it into balls.
- Store in a covered container in the fridge or freezer for up to 2 weeks (if they last that long!).

Quick Tips for Perfect Protein Bites
CBD protein bites are easy to make, but a few quick tips don’t hurt.
1. Don’t feel like using the microwave? Skip that step and use a food processor. The results will be the same. You can also use a little muscle power and mix the ingredients together by hand.
2. Sometimes, depending on your ingredients, the mixture may need a little help. These apply to all 3 recipes:
- If your mixture is still too wet after you’ve chilled it, add some more oats.
- If it’s too dry, add more of the wet ingredients (peanut butter, almond butter, honey or maple syrup).
3. Do a taste test. Before rolling out all the balls, taste your mixture. If it’s not sweet enough, add a little more honey or maple syrup (whatever the recipe calls for) and mix again.
