In our house, we love a good salad. Raid the fridge and pantry, throw in everything but the kitchen sink – the more variety, the better.
Sometimes we’ll get a bottle of dressing from the grocery store. But, just as often we make a healthy classic: Green Goddess Dressing – healthy fats, yummy herbs, all around deliciousness.
And, of course, we kick it up a notch with a little CBD!
Why we Love it
This healthy dressing takes less than five minutes to make and is great on salads or as a dip for veggies.
One of the reasons we love it so much is because the base is avocado. And there’s a lot to love about avocado…
1. It’s packed full of vitamins and nutrients:

2. Heart-healthy benefits
Avocado is a high-fat food. In fact, 77% of the calories in it are from fat, but not just any fat: oleic acid. Oleic acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid celebrated for its health benefits.
It’s been associated with reduced inflammation and shown to have beneficial effects on genes linked to cancer.
Avoado has also been shown to help:
- Reduce total cholesterol levels
- Reduce blood triglycerides
- Lower LDL cholesterol
- Increase HDL (the “good”) cholesterol
3. High in Antioxidants
Avocados are super high in antioxidants, which we all need. And not only that, they also increase antioxidant absorption from other foods!

CBD Green Goddess Dressing Recipe
So, what do you need to make this star of the show dressing?
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 bunch tarragon
- ½ bunch each: parsley, basil, green onions, green part only
- 1½ lemons, juiced
- ½ cup mayonnaise (or plain greek yogurt)
- 6 ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Your preferred dose of CBD
So, you’ve gather all your ingredients, now what?
Grab your blender, toss everything in and blend until it’s smooth and creamy.
That’s it. Easy, peesy, lemon squeezy. Literally.
