5 CBD Smoothies: The Perfect Start to Your Day!

Who doesn’t love a good smoothie to start the day off right? Am I right?

Personally, I could have a smoothie every morning and not feel bored. (I have one several times a week, so it’s not that far off). And mine are always CBD smoothies, so they’ve already got that extra health kick alongside the healthy ingredients I always try to add.

But they’re not only healthy. They actually taste great too. Really, it’s hard to muck up a smoothy.

Still, these are some of my favorite recipes for my morning CBD smoothies. And, each one has a secret ingredient to make them even healthier (and no, it’s not the CBD – that’s not a secret!).

5 Delicious (& Healthy) CBD Smoothies

Fast, healthy, and delicious – what could be better? Here are our top 5 CBD hemp oil smoothie recipes!

1. Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Bananas – 2
  • Almond milk – 1 cup
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 15 MG Source CBD oil*

Secret ingredient: 1 cup torn kale

Kale is one of the most nutritiously-dense foods on the PLANET! It’s packed full of powerful antioxidants, vitamins A, C, B6, and K, and minerals like copper, calcium, and magnesium.

Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. If you want it smoother, just add some ice!

2. Peach Mango Smoothie

  • Mangoes – 1 cup
  • Peaches – 1 cup
  • Plain Greek yogurt – 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 15 MG Source CBD oil*

Secret ingredient: 1 teaspoon grated ginger

Ginger is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that have powerful benefits for your body and brain.

Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. If you’re using frozen mangoes or peaches, ditch the ice.

3. Blueberry Coconut Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Blueberries – 1½ cups
  • Unsweetened coconut milk – ½ cup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 15 MG Source CBD oil*

Secret ingredient: 2 tbsp hemp seeds

Hemp seeds are exceptionally rich in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). They’re also a great source of protein.

4. Blackberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Bananas – 1
  • Frozen blackberries – 1 cup
  • Plain yogurt – 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 15 MG Source CBD oil*

Secret ingredient: 2 cups (packed) spinach

Spinach is well known for its nutritional qualities. It can help restore energy, increase vitality and improve the quality of your blood. It’s rich in iron, vitamins A,C, and K, as well as manganese and magnesium.

Blend all the ingredients together in a blender.

5. Pineapple Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Blueberries – 1 cup
  • Pineapple – 1 cup
  • Plain Greek yogurt – 1 cup
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 15 MG Source CBD oil*

Secret ingredient: 1/2 cup pureed beets

Yep, beets. Stay with me here. Not only does the beet puree make your smoothie extra, well, smooth and creamy, it has a lot of nutritional extras too. Beets are full of dietary fibre, folate, and vitamins A, C, K, and B12. They’re also packed with phytonutrients called betalains, which have potential antioxidant, cancer-fighting, and anti-inflammatory properties.
